Qatar Health 2009,The Healthcare Exhibition and Congress in Qatar

Qatar Health 2009, Qatar’s first integrated medical exhibition and congress, is on course to be the largest healthcare event to take place in Qatar.

The five-day event will take place at the 10,000 m2 Doha Exhibition Center from the 12th-16th December 2009.

Qatar Health 2009 is hosted and organized by Hamad Medical Corporation under the Patronage of His Highness the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al thani and with the support of the event management and organizer, Qatar Expo. Qatar Health 2009 exhibition commences on Saturday 12th December.

Following the exhibition, the four day Qatar Health 2009 medical congress will start from Sunday 13th December, offering seminars and workshops from renowned international key opinion leaders on medical subjects such as emergency medicine, obstetrics & gynaecology, surgery, paediatrics and psychiatry.

Explaining the event’s change of name, a HMC spokesman, stated:

“Qatar is a nation that is leading from the front in embracing new medical technologies, advanced hospital infrastructures and providing first class education and training for our healthcare professionals. The name Qatar Health reflects this broad thinking, the premier services we provide, our proud achievements and future ambitions.”
