Etisalat, GE Healthcare Sign Agreement 1>

Etisalat and GE Healthcare have signed an agreement aimed at making the most of the synergies between healthcare and telecom. Etisalat said it will leverage GE Healthcare’s innovative solutions and expertise in capturing patient information. This strategic combination will result in the development and offering of medical data management and remote clinical support services via Etisalat’s telecom infrastructure. This alliance will further facilitate Etisalat’s vision of ‘Connected Healthcare’ whereby ICT can be used to improve patient care and safety while reducing costs.
