Al Raffah Hospital Conducts Blood Donation Campaign 1>

The blood donation camp conducted by Al Raffah Hospital in its premises evoked good response and more than 30 people, including Omanis and expatriates, donated 350-400 ml of blood from each of the donors. “We are extremely happy with the interest and participation elicited by our blood drive, said Dr Barkha, Pathologist at Al Raffah Hospital.

Besides mobilizing reserves for the blood bank, our aim was to generate awareness about the benefits of blood donation, and we have definitely achieved that,” she affirmed. According to Dr Arora, “We need to organize blood donation camps regularly as the date of collected blood expires in 35 days and we need to replenish it continuously.”
