Dr. Hanif Hassan Ali, UAE Minister of Health, received today Dr. Naif Hayel Al Fayes, Jordanian Minister of Health, and his accompanied delegation.
The two parties discussed bilateral relations in the health sector and ways of developing relationships between the two countries.At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Hanif welcomed the Jordanian Minister then reviewed the historical relations between the two countries reassuring the importance of exchanging information and experiences in the medical field. He said: “The UAE and Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan have strong and solid relationships and we look forward to discussing cooperation and exchanging experiences in the medical field in terms of developing the medical human resources in the nursing field, laboratories as well as vital other medical practices”.
The two parties discussed ways of developing bilateral relations, exchanging information technology in the field of pharmaceutical industries and cooperation in medical continuous learning centers and training. The two Ministers also reviewed the medical programs and steps that are approved by the different medical sectors in both countries towards raising health services and providing the required healthcare procedures to locals and expats.The meeting was attended by Dr. Salem Al Darmaki, Acting Director General, Dr. Mahmood Fekri, Executive Director for Health Policies, Dr. Amin Al Amiri, Executive Director for Medical Practices and License, Dr. Nariman Al Mulla, Minister’s Advisor, Dr. Abdul Kareem Al Zarooni, Director of Health Advertisements Department, Abdalla Al Ahmedi, Director of Health Insurance Department and Foazia Jamaan from the External Relations and International Organizations Department. The delegation will visit Health Authority and Rashid Hospital in Dubai on Tuesday.
