SFDA Rejects Entry of Laboratory and Diagnostic Devices

Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) has rejected the entry of 1, 384 devices of laboratory and diagnostic equipment included in 16 shipments during the fourth quarter of 1430 H.

The Authority attributed the reasons for the prevention of the entry of these devices to mainly poor conditions of storage and incompatibility with conditions of storage recommended by the manufacturers so that these devices will give inaccurate or false results in diagnosis which may endanger the lives of patients.
