Jordan Buys Mobile Cancer Detection Unit

The Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development signed a 220,000 Kuwaiti dinar (JD538,500) agreement to buy mobile early cancer detection unit for the King Hussein Cancer Foundation.

The Jordan’s representative signed the agreement to the fund and Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Jaafar Hassan and the fund’s Director General Abdul Latif Al Hamad.

The Kuwait-based Arab fund has funded about 42 development projects in the Kingdom since 1974, while grants reached $1.6 billion in the same period.
