Emirates World Humanitarian Mobile Hospital Inaugurated for six months in Morocco

21-6-2010-1Emirates mobile hospital initiative is focused on country’s efforts to implement health programs all over the world, according to H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region, Chairman of the UAE Red Crescent Authority (UAERCA). “World Humanitarian Mobile Hospital mission in Missour region, Morocco.” Sheikh Hamdan said. Choosing the Kingdom of Morocco to be the second stop of the mobile hospital confirms the deepness of relations between both countries. A group of senior officials have attended the launch of the mobile hospital including UAE Ministries of Health and Interior, Armed Forces, Health Authority in Abu Dhabi, UAERCA, Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, Khalifa Foundation for Humanitarian Works, Zakat Fund, Emirates World Heart Group, Emirates News Agency (WAM), Abu Dhabi Company for Health Services, Al Noor Hospital, Emirates Cardiology Centre, National Training Foundation, and others.

The Emirates World Humanitarian Mobile Hospital in Missour region is to continue to provide affordable treatment programs, prevention training and awareness for six months besides sending medical convoys from the mobile hospital in the region to other areas in the country. In addition to that, it includes 25 beds, sections of primary health care, emergency care, a section of surgery and a unit of internal diseases, cardiac catheterization unit and a dental clinic, as well as equipments for sterilizing medical instruments, intensive care units, intermediate care unit, minimal care unit, pharmacy, laboratory, x-ray section, maintenance section and a unit of power generation and medical supplies.
