New Substances Added to WADA forbidden substances.

In , the World Anti-Doping Agency ‘s Executive Committee,  which is responsible for identifying the ,  inserted  more prohibited substances  to the 2011 document that lists prohibited compounds . The official publication of the new list will be released on 1th of October 2010 and will become active from 1th of January in the next year. The prohibited list includes certain substances and methods banned in sport and its application is obligatory for organizations that are following the World Anti –doping Code.

According to the code, if the organization didn’t apply the list it will be subjected to sanction. The concerned list is one of the fundamentals representing significant means developed to fight doping addicting in sports all over the world. The recently prohibited list composed of anabolic agents, peptide hormones, beta-2 agonists, modulators, growth factors, hormone antagonists and other masking agents, narcotics, stimulants and cannabinoids, among others.

The last weekend a meeting was held in Montreal. This meeting added other substances to the prohibited list, a copy of it will be enforced from 1th of October. The ’s List Expert Group performed annual revision to the list by drafting list among stake holders, according to the comments received by ‘s Group ,it presents its conclusions to WADS’s Health, Medical and Research Committee.
