Collaboration Between Saudi Arabia And Turkey In Healthcare.

Healthcare in HajSaudi Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, reported that the Kingdom will collaborate with Turkey in issues concerning healthcare, involving the manufacturing of blood plasma. After meeting the Turkish minister of health, Professor Rajab Akdagh, the Saudi minister of health made the announcement.

Dr. Al-Rabeeah mentioned that  “We will also cooperate with the Turkish Ministry of Health in exchanging expertise in mass gathering management, particularly in information technology relating to Haj, Furthermore, we will receive Turkish physicians to work along with their Saudi counterparts in providing healthcare to pilgrims and sharing experience”.

Al-Rabeeah took his Turkish counterpart on a tour of the Haj Healthcare process and management centers where all healthcare facilities in Makkah and the holy sites are offering services. During a presentation on the center, Akdagh asked Al-Rabeeah to permit teamwork of Turkish experts to observe it. According to that Al-Rabbeah accepted the request mentioning it would be pleasure.

Each year the Kingdom welcomes a huge number of pilgrims, offering them a huge number of services,   especially in healthcare; among these pilgrims are seventy thousand Turkish who performed Haj rituals.
