A State-Of-The-Art Optometric Center In Jazan

Optometric CenterWith the support of Prince Mohammed bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, a state-of the-art was opened in in order to satisfy the health needs of the individuals in Sabya area. Dr. Abdullah Al-Sweidan, vice governor of , reported to Shuqaiq Water and Electricity Company, which funded the project by the opening of the center on behalf of Prince Mohammed at Sabya General Hospital.

Moreover, Al-Sweidan opened several other projects that were currently improved by the hospital, involving a blood disease center, a one-day surgical department and other new services. Sabya General Hospital offers healthcare services to the population of Sabya area; which has recently exceeded 500,000 individuals in twenty-three towns, involving the Thumad Center of Abu Arish, Rea’aeh, Iyban, Aljho, Alkha’shah, Al-Salma, Algah’ah, Othowan and Jabal Al-Hashr.

Dr. Madani Alagi, chairman of SqWEC mentioned “We thank the administration of Sabya General Hospital for giving us the opportunity to support the Optometric Center by providing the latest medical equipment; this is the first step in a series of other initiatives we are currently undertaking”.

In addition, he reported that the company plans to support other society care programs in the future. Besides that the current center will open the way for renowned eye specialists from all parts of the Kingdom in order to serve patients due to the permissibility of modern tools in the new clinic.

 Al-Sweidan presented his thanks to everyone who has cooperated in the constructions of the new projects to aid local population in the hospital. The collection at the inauguration of the health facilities at the hospital was addressed by Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sweilam, Shoura Council member and vice president of Charitable Health Society for Patient Care (ENAYAH) and Dr. Mohsen Tabiqi.
