KuwaitA new decision has been announced lately by the Kuwaiti Health Minister, Dr Hilal Al-Sayer, to cancel for expatriates with valid residency permits, as Al-Seyassah daily quoting sources reported. So that it won’t be necessary for the expatriates to pay for cancer diagnosis and treatment in all hospitals and medical centers, provided they are legal residents in the country. Assistant Undersecretary for Financial Affairs, Mohammad Al-Azmi, mentioned “The decision entails cancellation of fees for health insurance, as well as services offered in hospitals and health centers”.

On the other hand, Al-Azmi denied allegations that there were complaints from the academicians in the college appointed to some public hospitals about non-payment of their incentives. He stressed “The academicians receive their financial rewards on time, while the consultants are paid through the college after obtaining approval from the University (KU)”.
