Saudi Shoura Council Continues to Provide Free Medical Care

ShouraNews reports, published in some dailies, mentioning that members of have rejected the principle of providing free medical care for citizens were denied by the Council itself. “The reports published on Tuesday were false. Shoura members have unanimously agreed on the importance of providing free medical care for citizens” said Dr. Muhammad Bin Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, Secretary General of the Shoura Council.

He added “The council monitors the quality and standards of medical services at all public hospitals across the Kingdom. The council receives reports from the Ministry of Health and follow-up reports of the Five Year Development Plan”.  Al-Ghamdi asked the media to make sure of stories they are publishing so that the public doesn’t be confused and create unnecessary sensation.
