GlaxoSmithKline is a leading manufacturer of toothpaste including desensitizing product Sesnsodyne.  According to GSK, most of the solutions available today are stressing on providing treatment for hypersensitivity. In the same time, the new improvements in this technology mean that future products created to treat this condition can also ‘repair’ the sensitive teeth.

Sensitive teeth develop when the soft, inner core of the teeth becomes exposed. Abrasion from tooth-brushing, acid erosion which dissolves the enamel or tooth grinding are some of the factors leading to sensitivity. Changes in temperature follow the core exposure are developed by hot and cold foods and drinks. Then the fluid in the tiny exposed pores to expand and contract. So that the nerve can be irritated causing the pain and discomfort of sensitive teeth.
