Enaya Offers Free Health Check-ups to Residents in Sharjah

SharjahThe Emirates International Mobile Hospital, Enaya, will provide residents of with free health check-ups to over 6,000 people during the next two months. The hospital’s field unit at Al Qasba was launched by Dr Hanif Hassan Ali Al Qassim, Minister of Health. “Since it was launched by Shaikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the mobile hospital has proved its success locally and internationally,” he said during the opening. Dr Adel Al Shameri, Heart Surgeon, CEO of Zayed Cares Initiative and Chief of UAE Heart Association explained that this hospital will provide free heart, kidney and liver checkups. Dr Al Shameri added “We hope to train more than 200 administrative, medical and technical staff in the field of emergency relief response, heart resuscitation and patients’ care”.

Surgical cases will be moved to government hospitals in Sharjah including Al Qassimi and Kuwaiti Hospitals for follow ups and in the same time they will be handled by the team of the . Khadeem Al Deraai, Head of the Emirates International Mobile Hospital said “The mobile hospital will receive all visitors and provide tests for all specializations for free. All cases that need surgical intervention will be done by the medical team of the mobile hospital in the hospitals of both public and private sectors”. Before Sharjah, medical checkups were offered to the residents in Abu Dhabi, Fujairah and Ajman, the hospital offered its services in several countries including Pakistan, Bosnia, Morocco and Sudan.
