SRCA Signs a New Agreement for Improving Medical Ambulance Services in KSA

On Monday, 215 ambulance vans were imported to the according to an agreement with a national company. This agreement is part of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority’s plan to expand and improve its services. The Saudi Press Agency’s official announced that these vans included 150 type-3 ambulance vans and 65 type-2 vans equipped with advanced medical facilities. “The contract was signed in line with the desire of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah to develop ambulance services. We are making continuous efforts to improve medical ambulance services and modernize our ambulance fleet” Prince Faisal bin Abdullah, chairman of told the official news agency.

Another agreement between McKinsey & Company and the SRCA was signed to prepare a 10-year development plan for the organization. Prince Faisal commented “The agreement would lead to a face-lift in the Red Crescent’s activities in the future. We have selected the most qualified and experienced partner for the project”. On the other hand, SRCA will develop its first-aid services through applying several strategic studies. “This project is a proactive step to prepare for the coming generations” the chairman said.
