Four Advanced Rehabilitation Hospitals to be established in KSA

RiyadhDr. Mansour Bin Nasser Al-Hawasi, Health Undersecretary for Executive Affairs announced that four world-class rehabilitation hospitals will be built across . King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques ordered the beginning of the establishment at modern medical cities. Dr. Mansour said during a conference held on Saturday and organized by King Fahd Medical City “Partners of Rehabilitation: Provision of Distinguished Service. These hospitals will seek to develop medical rehabilitation services”.

Dr. Abdullah Bin Sulaiman Al-Amro, Executive General Director of King Fahd Medical City (KFMC) said “Medical rehabilitation focuses on rehabilitating physical, mental and psychological aspects of individuals using medical skills and equipment”. Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Shamekh, Executive Director of Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz Humanitarian City (SBAHC) commended the cooperation between the KFMC and SBAHC to improve care programs and services and exchange medical rehabilitation expertise and ensure joint management of medical crises.

Dr. Abdul Aziz added “Both cities seek to provide highly-qualified rehabilitative, diagnostic and therapeutic services according to international standards. They have cadres with global expertise who use modern medical services to heal patients and increase their chances to lead a normal life”.
