Wekaya Cooperated with MoH in Sharjah

An agreement has been signed in Sharjah between the Ministry of Health and Wekaya. Wekaya is organizing the treatment of medical waste disposed by the ministry’s facilities in Sharjah. Khaled Majed Lootah, the ministry’s Assistant Undersecretary for Institutional and Support Services, and Khalifa Al Shaibani, General Manager of Wekaya signed the contract. Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Zarouni, Deputy Manager of Sharjah Medical Area was also present.

His Highness Dr. Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah established Wekaya in Sharjah. Wekaya is the first facility in the UAE specialized in medical waste treatment.
